Pamela Saxon, Owner and Creative Director
With a diverse background ranging from producing for the stage to
designing for print and the Web, Pamela brings multiple talents to the
roles of Creative Director and Art Director. Her leadership,
organization and technology skills, along with her personal energy and
enthusiasm, make her a highly valuable asset to clients.
Since 2004, Pamela has successfully managed major (and modest) projects for her previous company, Creative Leverage Group, and now Saxon Design, winning accolades from very happy clients. Her experience covers every aspect of marketing: researching, developing strategy, and producing materials for advertising, point-of-purchase, trade shows, and SEO-oriented sites that put companies at the top of the search list. She's known as a stickler when it comes to meeting deadlines, monitoring budgets, and getting results.
For her achievements as Director of Shows with Viacom/Paramount Corporation, she earned the award of Professional of the Year. Her work for Paramount Parks involved conceiving, developing, writing, directing and choreographing five seasons of stage productions in collaboration with performers, music directors, and staff. Public relations was another key element of her responsibilities.
Most recently, Pamela has been instrumental in the creation of a start-up called 1st Mind, Inc. She contributed to the business and marketing plans as well as the details of brand positioning and management.
Her first-hand knowledge of media comes from being a performer in television and film for over 20 years. She has also taught and developed curriculums for school and university programs. With her penchant for challenges, it's no surprise when a client sees "obstacle," Pamela sees "opportunity."
Pamela (who's called Pam) is a native Virginian and earned her degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts. She has worked in markets as big as New York City and has made her home and business in Nashville since 1996.
