Paul Arntz, Web and Interactive Development
Paul began web development nine years ago with a simple
understanding of HTML using Microsoft Front Page. After a short time,
he moved to Dreamweaver for WYSIWYG type editing.
Dynamic web pages began to be a priority after working on the web for 2 years. Paul learned the basics of PHP (Hypertext Preprocessor) and began to write simple interactive forms and small programs for his sites. His passion for PHP and other "C Based" languages caused him to sharpen his skills to become a full Object Oriented programmer in this language. He also is very proficient in Action Script for Macromedia Flash and Javascript.
After completing an extensive web development curriculum at New Horizons in Nashville, TN he began working for Goldleaf Technologies in Brentwood, TN. At Goldleaf Paul wrote code for many of the over 900 bank sites currently managed and built by this company. His coding skills were quickly noticed by Music City Net (a Goldleaf subsidiary). He was asked to do many other large scale projects for Goldleaf which includes writing database driven, backend programs for many of today's biggest stars' sites. Paul also writes programs to quickly generate code needed to make the creation of banking sites quicker for Goldleaf’s banking division.
Currently Paul is consulting for Goldleaf and working as a freelance programmer. He has over 200 hundred dynamic business sites to his credit. There is no web development project too large for Paul to handle solo but he is also a good team player.
